Kittens!
Hello I'm going to be speaking to you about kittens! They are really small and make cute noises in all different colours.
Kittens
Kittens are sweet little animals and can be kept as pets, some people hate cats because they are hairy or may scratch curtains excreta. But because I love animals I love cats like any other animals. A cats young is really called a cub not a kitten a kitten is normally the name of lynx, ocelots or a caracal, a caracel is a very funny looking animal it looks like this...
Kittens when born are very delicate and can only open they're eyes after 10 days of birth which is a pretty long time. In a litter of cubs or kittens there is an average of 2 to 5 kits which is not that much because rabbits have a litter of 15 to 24 bunny's. A mother cat like all other mothers of there new born pup,bunny, excreta are fed by the suckle of there mother which is the new born mammals food (milk).
When kittens are a month old then they can start to eat cat meat with cat biscuits. The average size of a new born kitten is normally the size of your hand (not including fingers). In the world there are 80 breeds of cat which is MASSIVE!

Puppies!
Hello, how are you? I'm sure everyone loves puppies because they're all cute and tiny, so guess what? I'm doing PUPPIES!
Puppies
Some puppies when born can weigh to 1 to 3 lb's while other larger dogs can weigh to about 15 to 23 lb's.
When a puppy is born it grows very quickly, and as the puppy grows older the coat (fur) may change colour, the same name 'pup' or 'puppies' is also used for seal pups,guinea pig pups, rat pups and even giraffe.
Some times a mother dog can have 6 pup's in a litter if this happens there is going to be a 'runt' of the family, a 'runt' is the smallest pup. When puppies are young they do not understand anything very well so you do have to be patient, like if the puppy wee's on the floor for example you cannot smack the pup or shout you should just put the pup in the garden so it knows were it's toilet is. Puppies are very very tiny and cute when born but as I said about the bunny's they can not be touched until they are 6 months old, When a puppy is born it cannot see or hear anything so you have to be careful and just let the mother feed and look after her pup's.
The Latin name of puppy is"catulus"

Baby's!
Hello, I'm going to start a new topic on Baby's. I have decided to do Baby's because we are preparing for Christmas and the birth of baby Jesus.
I know I haven't finished on the Winter Animals but there are millions so I'll be continuing on that next Winter.
Bunny's
Bunny's I love em especially when new born. First when a new born bunny is born it cannot see and is VERY tiny, some breeds of rabbit are the size of the palm of your hand!
bunny's when born are not aloud to be touched by humans, only the mother can handle the bunny. Rabbits grow quite quickly and the time it is 6 months old then a human can hold or touch the bunny.
A mother rabbit will look after her bunny's with all her love they will make a nest for them and even rip their own fur from their fluffy bit under their necks to put in the nest to keep the Baby Bunny's warm, how sweet is that?

The Polar Bear
Welcome back, today I'm going to be talking all about POLAR BEARS! Polar bears are like big teddy's to me, But can sometimes be very dangerous as they have strong teeth.

Polar bears are mammals and have a carnivore diet,A Polar Bear can live for the gerration of 25 to 30 years!
A Polar Bear is very big compared to a human or another creature, The baby Polar Bear can grow quickly and is fairly big too, The Polar Bear can live in VERY cold whether too but will not be affected as for its super thick fur.A Polar Bear is very sweet and kind to their young ones but as I said they can be very protective for their family's or babys.The Polar Bear is approximately 7.25 to 8 ft which is pretty big!
Polar Bears are also very talented swimmers as they can swim in FREEZING temperatures, And can swim by using their strong paws and legs.
These clever hunters mostly hunt on seal,and feed it too their young but if there are no seals they have to feed on penguins,fish or even men if they're hungry enough.Also whenever a female Polar Bear has a new born baby's are always twins.

The Arctic Fox
Hello friends today I am going to do the Arctic Fox which is a pretty dangerous animal if your a hare or bird.There is only one type of Arctic fox which is just the Arctic Fox, the Arctic Fox can live from 3 to 6 years and is an omnivore and obviously this animal can not have eggs so it is a mammal, the Arctic Fox can live in very cold temperature like –58°F (-50°C).This Fox can live in such whether because of its beautiful white coat which provides warmth and camouflage in the snow. An Arctic Fox lives in a burrow which is a tunnel under ground to keep them safe from blizzard or predators, like wolves, polar bears and humans/eskimos. The size of this creature is 18 to 26 cm's from head to tail.

Like a cats tail(when bristled), a Foxes tail is big and puffy so they survive in the harsh weather of the Arctic they use there tail to keep warm by curling up.The biggest predator for the fox is the polar bear, a big and fluffy bear that will eat most things, when hungry. A group of Fox are called either a skulk or leash. A female Arctic Fox can give birth to 14 pups each spring. Arctic Foxes are not in many films because they can sometimes be hard to find because they are solitary creatures.

WELCOME! Today is Seals they are very cute little things,But there is one seal which can be dangerous and eats penguins which is called the Leopard Seal.

There are many different variety's of seal such as Elephant seals,Harp seals, Hawaiian monk seals, Leopard seals, Ringed seals and the Weddell seal, seals are all unique in size, shape, colour and dietary.Some EVIL people out there in north Canada beat baby seals to death with baseball clubs for fun,which is wrong.
But out of all those unique seals I'm going to write just about the Harp seal and the leopard seal.
The Leopard Seal
The Leopard seal is a very big and dangerous creature (carnivore) that feeds on warm blooded animals such as: Penguins,fish,other seals and even humans if they're hungry enough.A Leopard seal is named a Leopard seal because it has polka dots on its body,Leopard seals can also be very big as they are the size of 10 to 11ft.
A Leopard seal can also use its long sharp teeth and powerful jaws to kill smaller creatures such as: fish,squid and smaller seals.
The Leopard seal is a very dangerous animal because they snatch and eat anything Example: If there is a bird perched on the the water the Leopard seal will swim up and snatch up the bird!
So you have to be careful.A Leopard seal can swim very fast too because they have to be fast to catch their prey.As they swim up to the speed of 22mph they can pretty much catch anything simply.a leopard seal can also live for a length of 15 years and lives in in Antarctica,And though the leopard seal is known for its rich coat it has not been hunted for fur as people are to frightened of the Leopard Seal.
This seal is seen in the film happy feet when he try's to eat a penguin.

The Arctic Hare
Today I will be writing all about an Arctic Hare,They are very cute creatures and live in a very cold climate of whether but because they are used to this they don't mind as they are adapted to this whether.

The Arctic Hare is a mammal and has a diet of an omnivore,A Hare is much bigger than a rabbit at about the size in Head and body 19 to 26 cm's.and its little tail is 1 to 2cm's.The weight of the Arctic Hare is 6 to 15 lbs.
This clever little Hare has thick fur and digs its own shelter in the snow and huddle together to share the warmth!
Arctic hares are fast and can run to the speeds of up to 40 miles an hour with its strong hind legs.

Snow Owls
Today it's the Snow Owls the same as Harry Potters pet owl they're lovely creatures with beautiful wings and lovely eyes like a cat.Hope you like this blog on Snow Owls ;)

Snow Owls are very clever birds and are strong too,this bird is also a carnivore and can eat mice,birds,rabbits and fish.A Snow Owl can fly at the mind shattering speed of 69mph. Funny fact a Snowy Owl poop's while flying >.< lol.
The average size of a Snow Owl is 52 to 71 cm's,And the wingspan is 4.2 to 4.8 ft.Like some owls are nocturnal but a Snowy Owl is diurnal which means they fly,eat excreta all day and night.A Snowy Owl is a very patient hunter that will sit on a perch while it waits for food,When the catch's its pray in its claws it grips tight and fly's away or it will grab the food by its strong beak.The Snowy Owl is white and called a Snowy Owl so other animals don't see him/her.A Snowy Owls predators are wolves, weasels, vultures,eagles and foxes.Snowy Owls are also VERY confident because if they have a nest the mother owl will protect her nest from a WOLF! Penguins
Hello again because it is winter I'm going to do some winter animals such as penguins,polar bears,seals,the Arctic hare, Arctic fox, snow wolf, a white owl,and big horn sheep.But today I will talk about Penguins hope you like :)
Penguins
Penguins are sweet little things and a lot of children think they are funny how they slide around,there are lots of different species of penguins such as: Adelie penguins, Emperor penguins, king penguins,chinstrap penguins, rock hopper penguins,jackass penguins.but today I will do the Adelie penguin and the emperor penguin.
The Adelie penguin
The Adelie penguin is a bird ans has the diet of a carnivore from eating small creatures like shrimps,fish and squid. these clever little penguins also live for an amazing 20 YEARS! the size of this penguin is only 27.5 in (70cm's)and the weight is just 8.5 to 12 lb's(4 to 5.5 kg's).like a lot of other penguins the Adelie penguins are very sleet swimmers but can only dive as deep as 575 feet.Then during breeding season all of the penguins go to the rocky side of the Antarctic where they all live in colony's(a group of penguins).This penguin is also in the happy feet.
The emperor penguin
An Emperor penguin is really cute when they are baby's the very same as the happy feet ones >.<
Emperor penguins are the largest penguins to stand as they are 4 feet and 1.2 metres tall.
These birds are also carnivores that eat a lot of fish and things.The emperor penguins also live to 15 to 20 years and can survive in a very cold temperature of -76°F (-60°C). reindeer's
pinch punch first day of the month
Its nearly Christmas just 24 days away so today I'm going to talk to you all about reindeer's because Santa use's reindeer's on his magical trips and why are reindeer's the chosen ones?
Reindeer's
Reindeer are strong creatures some pull pulks and some reindeer are hunted for meat,milk or fur.
But most reindeer's are known for transportation like Santa's reindeer prancer,dancer,dasher,vixen,comet,cupid and blixen, and finally everyone knows Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.Reindeer also have antlers both male and female but females only develop small ones.Reindeer have a very big diet having a four chambered stomach,they will eat things such as:reindeer moss,leaves from a willow tree,sedges,grass and sometimes lemmings,also if you've seen the film Bambi then you may see the reindeers eating tree bark in the snow when there is no food left.
It is sometimes sad when reindeer are hunted and killed but that's how the world is:(
Anyway if anyone has seen the funny film The Grinch who is played by Jim carrey the Grinch has a dog that he dresses as a reindeer which is funny lol. >.<

Christmas time YAY!!

Huskys are great dogs for winter because in the snow they pull lots of things and even people.
I am doing huskys for the Christmas blog today because they are like reindeer because its like they are the ones in the snow pulling Santa along.other working dogs apart from huskys all have jobs such as:
a greyhound runs to win races,and shepherd dogs are police dogs and SOMETIMES as girls may say chihuahuas are used to dress up,in farms farmers also use border collies to chase sheep cattle back to their inns.

Hamsters
Hamsters are very cute like mice, but also very weak so you have to handle them properly, or it could brake its bones inside and this could mean your hamster will die.hamsters are very fast little creatures so it may be hard to catch them,so it would be much easier to put them in a play pen.hamsters have a very simple diet just nuts and muesli,hamsters are very good for first pet owners but as I have said before you have to be VERY! careful.
hamsters do gnaw a lot of things so you have to keep a close eye on them especially when they gnaw wire!if they gnaw wires they could get a very bad shock,and again because they are small they will die. to keep your hamster away from gnawing other things,you could buy he\she a toy(sensible).

Mice
Most people hate Mice but I think there cute and tiny just like hamsters they are very similar too.Mice are small rodents who can be very active, generally at night and around dawn and dusk. They are a prey species and therefore prefer to stay close to cover.They are highly motivated to build nests to help them regulate their body temperature and are sensitive to light and noise.
