Puppies!

Hello, how are you? I'm sure everyone loves puppies because they're all cute and tiny, so guess what? I'm doing PUPPIES!
Puppies
Some puppies when born can weigh to 1 to 3 lb's while other larger dogs can weigh to about 15 to 23 lb's.
When a puppy is born it grows very quickly, and as the puppy grows older the coat (fur) may change colour, the  same name 'pup' or 'puppies' is also used for seal pups, guinea pig pups, rat pups and even giraffe.
Some times a mother dog can have 6 pup's in a litter if this happens there is going to be a 'runt' of the family, a 'runt' is the smallest pup. When puppies are young they do not understand anything very well so you do have to be patient, like if the puppy wee's on the floor for example you cannot smack the pup or shout you should just put the pup in the garden so it knows were it's toilet is. Puppies are very very tiny and cute when born but as I said about the bunny's they can not be touched until they are 6 months old, When a puppy is born it cannot see or hear anything so you have to be careful and just let the mother feed and look after her pup's.
The Latin name of puppy is"catulus"

hope you enjoyed this blog today on puppies see you next time.
